How do I apply for an HSBC current account?

 You can easily apply for an HSBC basic account online on the bank’s website, for this: 

1. visit the bank’s website and switch to Banking (Accounts and services)
2. choose the desired account and press the Apply button under its description
3. fill in the form (enter your personal and financial details, like name, date of birth, address, etc.) and follow the prompts

 Be ready to download scans of your documents, like your passport, income, and employment details, etc.

 To be eligible, you should:

• permit HSBC to check your credit ratio
• have 18 years, or be older
• provide the necessary ID and financial documents

 You can also apply for a new account at the nearest branch.
