How do I open an HSBC global account?

An HSBC global account enables a customer to use foreign currencies for banking operations, for example, to transfer money abroad. 

To open the account, you should: 

1. log in to the HSBC mobile app
2. switch to "International Services"
3. choose "Products and Services"
4. tap 'HSBC Global Money' and follow the prompts 

To be eligible you should have: 

1. 18 years or be older
2. a working bank account in HSBC
3. have an e-mail held with the bank
4. no Global Money Account in any country
5. not be subject to financial sanctions
