To scan your HSBC cheque properly, you should:
- log into the HSBC mobile app
- place it on an unreflective dark surface
- activate the cheque deposit scan feature on your mobile
- hover the mobile's camera over the cheque
- make sure the cheque is inside the outline of the red rectangle that is on the screen
- your cheque will be captured automatically
