You can apply for switching to HSBC online on the bank’s website, or at the nearest branch. After that:
- within a day, HSBC’s specialists contact your previous bank to close your old account
- on the 2nd day of the switching application, managers collect all the information regarding your regular payments from the old banking account, like your salary, direct debits, etc.
- regular payments from your new account are set up in 3-4 days
- on the 7th day from the date of the switching application, your old account is closed, and the balances are transferred to your new account in HSBC
