HSBC - activate a credit or debit card

Activating an HSBC credit card – is just a simple task, you can do it in one of the following ways: 

1. at ATMs (make any transaction requiring your PIN, for example, check your card balance)
2. in the mobile app or Internet banking (login, switch to your banking account connected with the card, choose Manage cards, then Activate card, select the required card, look through the banking information, and press Confirm)
3. by phone (call 0800-783-5263 if you have a debit card and 0800-328-1370 if a credit card)
