To use Apple Pay in HSBC, you should:
- When paying in stores:
- with Face ID:
- make double-click the side button
- look at the screen
- bring your mobile to the POS terminal
- for Touch ID: bring your iPhone to the POS terminal and keep your finger on Touch ID.
- When paying on websites: choose Apple Pay at checkout and finish the payment using Face ID or Touch ID
- Paying on Transport for London: bring the top of your mobile to the middle of the yellow card reader at the start and end of your ride
